Mathieu Flamini has been ruled out of Saturday’s game at Everton with boss Arsene Wenger set to make changes.
The midfielder came off with a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s 3-1 defeat at Barcelona and has been ruled out of the Goodison Park clash.
Wenger is likely to make alterations to the side that started the Champions League game in Spain, with Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck and Gabriel facing a fight to hang on to their starting berths.
Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey (thigh), Jack Wilshere (leg), Tomas Rosicky (thigh), Petr Cech (calf), Santi Cazorla (Achilles) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) will all sit out the game.
Wenger had hoped to have Wilshere and Cazorla back after the international break but says their recoveries are taking longer than expected.
“Cazorla is slow,” says Wenger. “Wilshere is showing good signs of recovery. I don’t think straight after the international break Wilshere or Cazorla will be back.”
Provisional squad: Ospina, Macey, Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Elneny, Ozil, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud.
