Roberto Firmino has praised the influence Jurgen Klopp has had since taking over at Liverpool back in October.
The German penned a three-year deal when succeeding Brendan Rodgers at Anfield and the 48-year-old has had a positive effect on the players in his short time.
Klopp has guided the team to the League Cup final, where they will play Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday, while the Reds are also into the last-16 round of the Europa League.
A clash against Manchester United was their reward for getting past Augsburg and there is a lot of optimism for the next campaign.
Firmino is one player who has expressed his delight at the arrival of Klopp and the Brazil international’s performances have also picked up over the past few months.
He has scored six goals and registered seven assists in 23 Premier League appearances this term and the 24-year-old says the former Borussia Dortmund boss is very talented.
“He’s one of the best, if not the best I have worked with,” he said. “We’re very happy with him since he arrived, he has changed the team’s style of play and now we’re playing better.”
