Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Tottenham target Yunus Malli.
Spurs are long-term admirers of the Mainz star who, at just 24, has already played 113 times in the Bundesliga.
But now, according to reports in Turkey, Spurs will have competition to land the midfielder this summer.
Like Tottenham, Fenerbahce have sent scouts to watch the Turkey international in action and they have been suitably impressed.
Malli, who scored 11 goals in 34 league games last term, is expected to feature at the European Championships so potential suitors could make their move early to avoid his price rocketing should he impress in France.
Malli is under contract until 2018 but it is understood that an offer of around £8m should suffice with Borussia Dortmund and Galatasaray also interested.
