Barcelona will make a move for Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen – if Claudio Bravo joins Manchester City.
The Chilean looks set to join Blaugrana legend Pep Guardiola at the Etihad after Joe Hart was demoted from being the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The Citizens have made Bravo their top target, with a bid of around £21m expected to be made in the coming days.
And it appears as though Barcelona are preparing for life after the 33-year-old as, according to Mundo Deportivo, they are lining up a move for Cillessen.
The Dutchman has been with Ajax since 2011 and he has made over 140 appearances for the Eredivisie giants.
Barca view him as the ideal man to replace Bravo, with German shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen set to become the team’s no.1.
