Farhad Moshiri’s purchase of Everton approved by Premier League

Bill Kenwright remains as chairman for now at the club valued at around £180m and has been asked to work alongside the new investor.

Moshiri bought some shares from Kenwright and director Jon Woods with London-born Robert Earl selling his 23 per cent stake.

Kenwright has been looking to find “the right person” to sell the club to for a number of years.
