Fans want Arsene Wenger to be appointed new England manager – not Sam Allardyce

21 Jul

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, who was interviewed for the role, came second with 17 per cent, despite only having one season’s experience in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew was the next most popular, claiming 15 per cent of the vote.

Incoming England boss Allardyce came fourth out of the shortlist of five, only getting 14 per cent.

That was just 3 per cent more than German Jurgen Klinsmann, who was last.
