Everton defender Leighton Baines claims the players fully understand the frustrations of the crowd at Goodison Park.
The home support have become increasingly frustrated with the team’s efforts this campaign as they have slumped to eight home defeats, their worst run since 1997 when they escaped the drop by two points.
The latest home loss was to Arsenal last weekend and the pressure is growing on Roberto Martinez but Baines says they understand the frustration of the fans.
He told evertonfc.com: “We fully accept the unhappiness of the crowd given the state of the results. Not just at home but generally we are not winning enough games.
“It is something we are working on and hopefully we can start putting some wins together.”
