Mamadou Sakho has put his Liverpool future in jeopardy with a late-night rant over his Anfield exile.
The French defender was a regular under Jurgen Klopp for much of last season but has been frozen out of the first-team picture since a failed drugs test in April.
Sakho was later cleared of the offence by UEFA but angered Klopp with his attitude in pre-season and was sent home from their tour of America for breaching club rules.
He rejected the chance to leave the Merseyside club on loan over the summer, against the wishes of Klopp, insisting he wanted to fight for his Liverpool future.
But he has not been included in any of the German’s squads this season and has not even featured for the development side.
And Sakho has now expressed his frustration at his situation with a series of Snapchat posts in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Sakho wrote: “Now it’s three weeks since I am fit to play games.
“I finish all my rehabilitation work. They don’t want me to play also with second team lol! Why I don’t know.
“Still working hard like Scouse Soldier! Still not talking cos (because) I want speak on pitch.. I will speak soon for the people who support me and don’t understand the situation.
“Still happy to live in my ‘Liverpool Country’ with my family, hope to have chance to play soon to give my best like I try to do always!
“I accept my situation but I can’t accept the lie… the fans deserve to know the truth! Thanks for your support.
“6 months stay quiet… Have a good night everybody! You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
Sakho has since removed the Snapchat posts, but that is unlikely to prevent Liverpool from tacking action against him.
