Radamel Falcao has confirmed that he will not be remaining with Chelsea next season and has returned to parent club Monaco.
The Colombia international endured a torrid season on loan at Stamford Bridge, scoring just one goal in 10 Premier League appearances, with his only start in the top flight coming in the 3-1 home defeat against Southampton in October.
The 30-year-old struggled during a similar spell at Manchester United during the 2014-15 campaign, scoring four times in 26 Premier League appearances, and he has now confirmed he will begin the upcoming campaign with Monaco.
“June 24 will initiate training with @asmonaco,” Falcao wrote on Instagram. “Excited and committed to start the pre-season with the club.”
Falcao had previously made 20 league appearances for Monaco, scoring 11 goals during his first stint with Les Rouges et Blancs.
