West Ham United are ready to make a move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas when the January transfer window opens.
Fabregas is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-team football at Stamford Bridge under new Blues boss Antonio Conte, and could seek a move if things do not improve.
The Spanish international starred in the EFL Cup win over Leicester City in midweek, scoring two goals, and as a result was handed a start against Arsenal on Saturday.
However he was taken off after 55 minutes as Chelsea slumped to a 3-0 defeat, and there are serious doubts over whether he features in the plans of Conte.
Fabregas has said he is willing to fight for his future, but he could be open to a move in January, and reports claim the Hammers are lining up a swoop.
West Ham made a number of signings in the summer, but are keen to land a marquee player when the window re-opens, and Fabregas, who could jump at the regular football on offer, fits the bill.
