Liverpool are being tipped to offload Jordon Ibe and Joe Allen in the summer, with Watford being linked with the pair.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to make wholesale changes in the summer and both Allen and Ibe could be among the first-team players to move on.
Midfielder Allen is set to enter the last year of his present deal in the summer and he may well be sold before he becomes a free agent in 15 months’ time.
The 26-year-old Wales international has suffered with a string of injuries and has only started 10 of Klopp’s games in charge, but Liverpool would have to take a substantial loss on the player they paid Swansea over £14m for in 2012.
Ibe may also be surplus to requirements as well as, after a promising start, he appears to be falling back down the pecking order at Anfield and has started just 16 games this season, although at the age of 20 the Reds may decide to loan him out elsewhere rather than sell him.
He is under contract until 2020.
