Ex-Man Utd striker Ashley Fletcher hails West Ham move after bagging debut goal

Fletcher called time on his United career last week, signing a four-year deal with the Hammers.

The 20-year-old, who came through United’s youth ranks but failed to feature for them at senior level, made his debut for Slaven Bilic’s side last night and netted his first goal for the club.

The striker is delighted to have made the move to east London and hopes to keep making his mark in pre-season ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

“I’ve loved every minute,” he told the club’s official website.
