Spain offered up a display of footballing perfection on Friday evening, dismantling a lacklustre Turkey side 3-0 in Nice.
Alvaro Morata struck twice, either side of a Nolito goal – with the Celta star also registering the assist for La Roja’s first goal.
It was an exceptional performance from the side, and 29-year-old Nolito was central to all their attacking play.
His inclusion in Vicente del Bosque’s squad comes at the end of a fantastic season at club level, where he scored 12 goals and registered seven assists for Celta.
This has seen him linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester City – who will be managed by fellow countryman Pep Guardiola next season.
City fans watched the Spanish performance with interest, and were treated to Nolito’s excellent display – with many taking to social media urging Guardiola to sign the winger this summer.
