Everton’s Tim Howard: The real reason I’m leaving the Premier League for America

The US shot stopper is quitting the Toffees after 10 years at Goodison to join MLS outfit Colorado Rapids this summer.

Howard, 37, had two years left on his current contract but has fallen behind Joel Robles in the pecking order after some poor performances.

But he is hoping playing at home will have him in USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann’s thoughts.
