Everton transfer news: Sam Allardyce targets Andre Silva from AC Milan – reports

Everton want to rescue AC Milan misfit Andre Silva from his San Siro nightmare, according to reports.

Sam Allardyce is keen to bring in striking reinforcements this month, and has already secured the services of Cenk Tosun from Besiktas in a £27 million deal.

However, the former England manager also wants to bring in the Portuguese striker to further strengthen his attacking options.

Silva arrived in Milan for a fee of around €38 million last summer, but has only scored eight goals for club – all of which have come in the Europa League.

According to Italian newspaper Quotidiano Sportivo, the Rossineri are keen to cut their losses with Everton ready to pounce.

The Toffees would be forced to part with around £40 million to bring the striker to Goodison Park, as Milan look to recoup some of the fee they paid just six months ago.
