Everton have reportedly made an official bid for Joe Hart as the goalkeeper considers whether to leave Manchester City this summer.
The England international’s days at the Etihad Stadium appear numbered after Barcelona confirmed Chile shot-stopper Claudio Bravo is on his way to City in a £17million deal.
Hart is now weighing up what to do next and is aware of Everton’s interest, the Merseysiders having made it known they are willing to sign the 29-year-old permanently or on a loan basis.
Everton are not alone pursuing Hart as German giants Borussia Dortmund have now thrown their hat into the ring, while Sevilla have a long-standing interest in the goalkeeper.
The Toffees do have other options should they fail to land Hart as they are also believed to be in contact with Sporting Lisbon over a move for their shot-stopper, Portugal international Rui Patricio.
