Everton ready to launch £20m bid for Manchester United star

The writing’s been on the wall for Mata since Mourinho was announced as the next United boss.

The Portuguese manager sold the Spaniard to United in his second spell in charge at Chelsea, despite Mata having won Chelsea’s player of the year award the previous two seasons.

And the imminent arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who also plays as an attacking midfielder/winger only solidifies the suggestion that Mata’s on his way out.
