Everton boss Ronald Koeman has reportedly set his sights on Ajax striker Arkadiusz Milik after missing out on Graziano Pelle.
Koeman had been keen to land Pelle from former club Southampton, having also worked with the Italian at Feyenoord, but the Saints forward is set for a move to China, with Shandong Luneng understood to be closing in on a deal.
The Everton boss is now ready to turn his attentions to Milik, who is expected to leave Ajax this summer after featuring prominently for Poland at Euro 2016.
The 22-year-old, a reported target for Leicester prior to the January transfer window, has been linked with a number of clubs from across Europe in recent weeks and Everton may face a battle to bring the forward to Goodison Park.
Milik is under contract with Ajax until 2019 and it will take a bid in excess of £10million, at the very least, to convince the Dutch giants to consider cashing in on one of their prized assets this summer.
