Everton have raised their offer for Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini but they are yet to hit the Italian side’s £25million asking price.
The Goodison Park club are believed to have seen a bid of just under £20million rejected by Napoli but they have continued talks with the Serie A club.
The latest speculation indicates Everton have raised their offer slightly to £21million but it remains to be seen whether or not the Partenopei are willing to lower their valuation of the 24-year-old.
Gabbiadini, who can also operate on the wings, joined Napoli in a 13million euros deal in January 2015 from Sampdoria and Juventus, who previously co-owned the player, and has managed 13 Serie A goals in 42 outings.
The Napoli attacker is a full international but was not included in Italy’s Euro 2016 squad earlier this summer.
