Everton FC news: Feyenoord’s Patrick Lodewijks joins Ronald Koeman’s backroom staff as goalkeeping coach
Everton’s Dutch influx is continuing after they agreed a deal with Feyenoord to bring in Patrick Lodewijks as first-team goalkeeping coach.
The 49-year-old is set to be reunited with new manager Ronald Koeman, whom he previously worked alongside during Koeman’s time in charge at the Eredivisie club.
A statement from Everton said the deal was subject ‘to the completion of the necessary paperwork’.
Koeman has already brought his brother Erwin and Jan Kluitenberg with him from Southampton to fill the roles of assistant manager and fitness coach roles respectively.
Lodewijks has been goalkeeping coach at Feyenoord since 2007, having also worked with Holland’s under-21s.
