Porto forward Yacine Brahimi is on Everton’s deadline-day wishlist and a club-record £35million deal could go through.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is after more firepower and reports claim a huge deal for Brahimi is on the cards as Everton close in on smashing their transfer record.
The pacey Algeria international, who can play just behind a central striker or out wide, scored nine goals in 44 appearances for Porto in all competitions last season and would seem ideally suited to the Premier League.
Everton are working on the deal on deadline day in the hope it will be concluded before the 11pm deadline and if it goes through would eclipse the £28million the Blues paid out for Romelu Lukaku in 2014.
