Davies, who made his first-team debut in the final game of the 2015-16 season after playing for the academy, has become a regular fixture in the midfield since the turn of the year.
The England Under-19 international, who has also represented his country at Under-16, 17 and 18 level, has made 16 Premier League appearances this term, scoring one goal.
He has now been rewarded for his impressive performances after putting pen-to-paper on a new five-year contract and the 18-year-old is delighted to have been handed this fantastic opportunity.
“It means everything to me to get a chance to be in the Everton first team and to try to stay there,” he told the club website. “Hopefully, young players in the academy can see how I have been able to progress and make my way to the first team.”
Davie will be hoping to start Tuesday’s trip to Manchester United as the Toffees aim to keep their slim top-four hopes alive with a victory against the Red Devils, who are sitting in fifth.
