Galatasaray are reportedly set to agree a loan deal with Everton for Oumar Niasse that could lead to a £6.7m purchase next summer.
The 26-year-old Senegal striker has been granted permission to travel to Turkey for talks with the Istanbul club after being told he was not part of Ronald Koeman’s plans.
The club were expecting to take a massive financial hit on a player former manager Roberto Martinez signed for £13.5million from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Niasse made only five Premier League appearances for the Toffees, starting twice and failing to score during some fairly anonymous performances.
But Everton look set to recoup over half their money with the Turks willing to take him on loan initially for a fee of £1million for the season.
The reported deal also includes a purchase figure of £6.7million with Galatasaray now set to decide over the course of the loan if they wish to make the switch permanent.
