Manchester United will meet Fenerbahce, Feyenoord and Zorya Luhansk in the group stage of the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho’s side were among the top seeds in Friday’s draw and were first out of the pot to be placed in Group A.
United will come up against a familar face when they take on Fenerbahce, with former striker Robin van Persie part of the Turkish side’s squad.
Of their other opponents, Dutch outfit Feyenoord are well known to United but they face a trip into the unknown against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk.
The European debutants – who reached the play-offs in the last two years but failed to progress – are based in the east of the country close to the border with Russia.
However, because of the war in that part of the country United are set to play at the Slavutych Arena in Zaporizhia, which is more centrally located.
Southampton, the only other Premier League side in the competition after West Ham’s play-off defeat, were drawn in Group K.
They will face Italian giants Inter Milan, as well as Czech side Sparta Prague and Hapoel Be’er-Sheva of Israel.
