Espanyol have rejected a second bid from Tottenham for goalkeeper Pau Lopez and have told Spurs to up the money on offer.
Having seen a £3million bid for the 21-year-old rejected last week, Tottenham reportedly went back with a deal which would have seen the shot-stopper join on a season-long loan initially with a view to a permanent move.
Spurs were willing to pay £6million at the end of the season to make the deal long-term but the Spanish outfit have once again rejected their advances.
According to reports, the Catalonia outfit are prepared to wait until Lopez enters the final year of his contract at the end of this season before making the goalkeeper available.
Espanyol have told Spurs that they believe they can get a lot more for Lopez once he has another season of La Liga experience under his belt.
