Boss Mauricio Pochettino isn’t fussed about his recent drought although he thinks the mask could be a problem.
He said: “If you analyse all the strikers in the Premier League it’s difficult to have 10 chances every game.
“I have full confidence in him. Sometimes there is a period arrives that is difficult to score. He is not a machine.
“Then he’s playing with a mask. Sometimes it can disturb you.
“When you are creative, maybe it’s easier for Nemanja Matic or different players that play behind, because it’s not their problem, but you need to be sharp when you are offensive and creative.”
It is 21 years since Spurs finished a season above Arsenal but Pochettino was not concerned about that.
He said: “We don’t want to compare with them. I think it’s not a good way to motivate our players. The motivation is to win every game, not to be above Arsenal.”
