Newcastle striker Emmanuel Riviere has joined Spanish top-flight club Osasuna on loan until the end of the season.
Riviere has not appeared for Sky Bet Championship club Newcastle since the beginning of March and the deal could lead to a permanent move with Osasuna having an option to buy the forward.
Newcastle signed Riviere from Monaco in July 2014 but the 26-year-old has made only 31 appearances in all competitions since, scoring three goals.
The Magpies have also loaned out young players Jamie Sterry and Adam Armstrong to Coventry and Barnsley respectively until January.
Sterry, a 20-year-old right-back, made his Premier League debut as a substitute in during the 5-1 home win over Tottenham in May and also featured in the 2-0 EFL Cup victory against Cheltenham last week.
“I’m pleased to add another defender to the ranks as we welcome Jamie Sterry to the club,” Coventry manager Tony Mowbray told the official club website.
“He is only 20, but is a young talent with plenty of promise and will provide healthy competition in the wing-back position for us.”
