Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to sell eleven United first-teamers – including Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Daley Blind.
Newspaper El Confidencial claimed over the weekend that the agents of Spanish internationals Herrera and Mata have been told to find new clubs for their clients.
The report suggested West Ham and Valencia as possible destinations for the ex-Chelsea star Mata, who Mourinho has already shown the door to once before.
It would not be a shock to see Blind and Depay go either as Mourinho is already targeting a more physical centre-back in Eric Bailly and the ex-PSV Eindhoven star was a resounding flop in his first season at Old Trafford.
Others who Mourinho has told United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward that can go are Ashley Young, Guillermo Varela, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marouane Fellaini, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia.
Luke Shaw, who has been recovering from a double leg fracture, will be offered the chance to spend a season elsewhere on loan and out-of contract midfielder Michael Carrick’s future is uncertain, according to the report.
