Swansea City striker Eder could move to French Ligue 1 side Lille before the beginning of this summer’s European Championships.
The 28-year-old Portugal international joined Swansea from Braga last summer but failed to score in 15 appearances.
Eder joined Lille on loan in February scoring six goals in 14 games.
“There is interest in keeping him. He would like to stay because he feels it’s the right place,” his agent Mikkel Beck said.
He scored six goals in 14 appearances for Lille and received a French League Cup runners up medal following their 2-1 defeat by PSG in April.
“It is something we are trying to work on. There are discussions ongoing,” former Middlesbrough striker Beck told Get French Football News.
“He has had a great six months at Lille, he has shown not only is he a great goalscorer but he has proved a capacity to set others up as well.
“I think in the form he is now, I am 100 per cent sure that he can play a big part for Portugal in the Euros.”
