England superstar Wilshere produced a classy 45-minute cameo on his first appearance for the Cherries in Saturday’s friendly against AC Milan, a side he snubbed on deadline day.
And despite midfield ace Wilshere only moving from Arsenal less than a week ago, Howe believes his impact has already enhanced the Cherries on and off the pitch.
Howe, who saw his side lose 2-1 to the Italians, said: “I hoped the signing and the high profile nature of the signing will give the lads that confidence that having a player like Jack Wilshere in your squad can give.
“I have seen a difference in our players and certainly standing next to them in the tunnel with the team can only inspire belief and confidence in the group.
“Hopefully it will inspire us to be better coaches to our players and it will inspire the players onto another level.
