Stoke will have to move quickly if they want Saido Berahino as reports claim Crystal Palace are closing in on a deal.
The West Brom star is again the subject of much transfer speculation, with the Potters, Eagles and Southampton among the clubs reported to be showing an interest in him.
The striker only has one year remaining on his current deal at the Hawthorns, and the valuation appears to be the sticking point, with most clubs, including Stoke, only willing to pay in the region of £11million.
However, Albion are standing firm for now and are holding out for £20million, a figure that Palace are prepared to meet according to the latest reports.
It remains to be seen if Stoke boss Mark Hughes will back down and go that high, and for now at least, Palace seem to be in the box seat to do a deal.
