Crystal Palace face a battle to sign Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa as West Ham United are reported to be closing on a deal.
Iorfa managed 46 appearances for Championship club Wolves last season and featured for the England Under-21 side at the Toulon tournament in France.
The Wolves starlet has been linked with a number of Premier League sides, including the Eagles, Southampton and Arsenal, but reports indicate the Hammers are leading the race for his signature.
It is claimed that Iorfa would prefer a move to West Ham and will turn his back on Palace and the rest if the Hammers can agree a fee with Wolves.
Wolves are keen to keep hold of the England youth international but it is thought a fee in the region of £7million will be enough to convince them to cash in.
