Crystal Palace are reported to be showing an interest in Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi, who plays for Portland Timbers in the MLS.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew is known to be on the look out for at least one new striker this summer, and Adi has emerged as a surprise target following an impressive run of form in the US.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form since joining the Timbers from FC Copenhagen in 2014, scoring 30 goals in 70 appearances, and he appears to have caught the eye of Pardew.
Adi was called up to the Nigeria national side back in March and the Timbers now face a battle to keep hold of the 6ft 4in striker when the transfer window opens this summer.
The Timbers will be keen to keep hold, but will struggle to turn down any lucrative offers, while Adi himself would jump at the chance of a move to the Premier League.
