Wayne Hennessey says there are places to play for in Crystal Palace’s FA Cup final side ahead of the trip to Southampton.
The Eagles face Saints at St Mary’s in their final Premier League game of the campaign this weekend, before they head to Wembley on May 21 for an FA Cup final showdown with Manchester United.
Palace are now safe from the drop but keeper Hennessey insists he and his team-mates will be eager to impress against Southampton as he feels manager Alan Pardew is yet to decide on his starting side for the final.
“I don’t think the gaffer will know his starting XI yet,” he told the News Shopper.
“There’ll be places to grab and hopefully we can do that at Southampton.
“They’re not just going to walk us over. We’re going into the final so we want to try and get something out of the game.”
