Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon is closing in on a return to first-team action after playing 60 minutes for the under-21s.
Puncheon missed the whole of February after picking up a hamstring injury but did return to the first-team squad for the FA Cup clash with Reading and Saturday’s defeat against Leicester.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew opted not to risk him in either game but there is a chance he could figure in the clash with West Ham at Upton Park after the international break.
Palace had to settle for a goalless draw against Leeds United, but more importantly Puncheon will be praying he does not suffer any reaction to the 60 minute run out.
