Swansea winger Nathan Dyer insists he happy to be back with the club and excited to get going with the new season.
The 28-year-old joined Leicester on a season-long loan deal for 2015-16 but was handed just 12 outings as the Foxes went on to win the league.
Dyer has now returned back to the Liberty Stadium and insists he is relishing the chance to step out on to his home pitch once again.
The former Southampton man is set to play in the Swans final pre-season game against Stade Rennais on Saturday, and hopes to make a case for selection when they start the campaign against Burnley in a week.
Dyer told the club’s official website: “I went out on loan last season for football reasons – I felt I wasn’t going to be involved in the team.
“But I’m back now. Pre-season has gone very well and I’m looking forward to walking into the stadium again and playing in front of the fans.
“I’ve got some amazing memories of playing at the Liberty and I can’t wait to get on the pitch and savour the atmosphere again.
“I’m looking forward to giving everything I’ve got.”
