Swansea are reported to be leading Ajax in the race to sign FC Twente playmaker Hakim Ziyech before the transfer deadline.
Swans boss Francesco Guidolin is hoping to push through a couple of deals before the window closes and Ziyech is reported to be on his wanted list.
Ajax were said to be leading the race for his signature but following a disappointing start to the season, Ziyech is having second thoughts about a move.
It has been suggested he would prefer a switch to the Premier League instead and would jump at the chance of a move to the Liberty Stadium if the Swans made an approach.
The 23-year-old has an eye for goal, something which Swansea are in need of after struggling to find the back of the net in the last campaign and so far this season.
