Swansea are reported to be among the clubs showing an interest in Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena ahead of the summer window.
Vilhena has been in good form for the Dutch outfit this season, with his five goals from 25 Eredivisie appearances helping the club to third place in the table.
Feyenoord have been working tirelessly to convince the midfielder to stay beyond the summer, but following unsuccessful negotiations an exit is now expected.
Vilhena is out of contract at the end of the campaign and director Martin van Geel is resigned to losing him.
“We think that he should stay yet for two years and then leave internationally,” he said. “But we need to give serious consideration to an exit.”
Swansea are said to be watching developments closely but face strong competition from a host of top clubs for his services.
FC Porto, Bournemouth, Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Juventus, Roma, Monaco and Bayern Munich are all said to be showing a keen interest.
