Southampton striker Graziano Pelle has emerged as a target for both Everton and Chelsea.
The Italy international’s future has been the subject of speculation for some time and he could well be set to leave St Mary’s this summer.
Chelsea have been mooted as potential suitors amid doubts surrounding Diego Costa, who is believed to be keen on a return to La Liga, and now former Saints boss Ronald Koeman is said to want to be reunited with the forward at Goodison Park.
Pelle did fall out of favour under Koeman at St Mary’s towards the end of last season but, having worked with the 30-year-old at both Feyenoord and Southampton, it seems as if the Everton boss remains a fan and could make a move this summer.
It has been suggested Saints will hold out for a fee in the region of £16million for the striker which is unlikely to put either Everton or Chelsea off making a move despite the player’s age.
