Swansea are close to wrapping up a double deal for QPR midfielder Leroy Fer and Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn.
Fer impressed while on loan at the Liberty Stadium last season and boss Francesco Guidolin always said it was the club’s intention to wrap up a permanent deal if a fee could be agreed.
That now appears to be the case with the Championship club set to accept £3million for the Dutchman, who made 11 appearances for Swansea last season.
Fer will be joined by fellow countryman Van der Hoorn, after Swansea agreed to pay the Dutch giants £2million for the central defender’s services.
Again the deal has been in the pipeline for some time but will be concluded in the next couple of days with the 23-year-old due to undergo a medical tomorrow.
