Arsenal are reported to have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mkhitaryan has enjoyed his best season since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013, scoring 11 goals from 31 Bundesliga appearances and providing 15 assists.
The Armenia international is said to be a target for Italian champions Juventus, but the Gunners are hoping to steal in with an offer and snatch the forward from under the Old Lady’s noses.
Manager Arsene Wenger is looking to add more attacking options to his squad to provide competition for the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck.
However, Mkhitaryan will not come cheap and Dortmund, who paid 27.5million euros for his services, will want to make a profit on one of the most highly-rated players at the club.
Wenger is ready to spend big this summer and there is a good chance he will be willing to push the boat out to land Mkhitaryan.
