DONE DEAL: Everton sign Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham

Everton have announced the signing of Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg on a three-year deal.

The 33-year-old joins the Toffees after three years with the Championship side, although he spent the last two seasons away on loan – with Monaco and Southampton respectively.

It was newly-appointed Everton boss Ronald Koeman who took Stekelenburg to the Saints last summer, where he played 25 times in all competitions.

The keeper also played under Koeman at Ajax, and heads to Merseyside for his third spell under him.
