Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier insists the squad have changed their goals this season as they now push to win the Premier League.
Dier has emerged as a key figure in a Spurs side sitting second in the table, five points shy of leaders Leicester.
Spurs were targeting a top-four finish at the beginning of the season but Dier has revealed their ambitions have altered as the weeks have progressed.
The England international said: “If you’d said to us at the beginning of the season you’d finish second in the Premier League, I think everyone would be very happy.
“But now with the situation we’re in, we are an ambitious group, with an ambitious manager, and we want to do as well as we can.
“If that’s finishing first then that’s what we are going to go for.”
Spurs face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday evening and are 2/1 to win the game with Titanbet.
