Will Hughes, out since the first day of the season with a serious knee injury, is fit to return for Derby.

Defender Marcus Olsson can play despite coming off with a sore Achilles against Hull in midweek but Bradley Johnson (knee) is less likely to feature.

Liam Trotter and David Wheater are in Bolton’s squad despite being disciplined in midweek.

Centre-back Rob Holding is back after suspension and Stephen Dobbie (head injury) can return up front.

  • Derby are unbeaten in 11 home league games against the Trotters stretching back to November 1982 (W7 D4).
  • Bolton have won only one of their seven visits to the iPro Stadium (D3 L3), winning 2-1 in a League Cup tie in October 1999 courtesy of goals from Mark Fish and Michael Johansen.
  • Derby defender Richard Keogh is yet to miss a single minute of Championship action this season, playing every minute of Derby’s 40 games so far.
  • Bolton are the only team in the top four tiers yet to win an away game in 2015-16 – their last win on the road was in April 2015 at Cardiff.
