Alli said: “You know, that is a bit of a blow for the confidence, that is why it is important that we have got to keep our heads up in the next game against Bournemouth and make sure that we get the three points and get back on track.
“We are second in the league and five points behind Leicester – as long as we keep thinking of ourselves and don’t get carried away with ourselves, and take every game as it comes, hopefully we will be up there at the end of the season.
“It was a great learning experience for us and all the players.
“We are a young team and we just looking at is it is important that we don’t let it get us down and we keep fighting. We know we are a great team.”
