Leeds United have yet to receive any offers for Charlie Taylor, despite reports claiming Stoke have opened talks over a deal.
Potters boss Mark Hughes has targeted a new left-back this summer and has been tracking the talented Leeds youngster for the last 12 months.
Reports have suggested that Stoke and Liverpool have opened talks with a view to doing a deal for the 23-year-old, but the word in West Yorkshire suggests that is not the case.
New Whites boss Garry Monk is keen to keep his best players ahead of a potential promotion push next season and he will do all he can to knock back any offers that come in.
Taylor himself is happy to stay at Elland Road and has been quoted as saying in the past that he wants to get into the Premier League with Leeds.
“Unless anything drastic happens, I’m sure IÂ’ll be here,” Taylor has said. “I’m not thinking any other way. The dream is still to play in the Premier League with Leeds. IÂ’m not just saying that.”
