Tottenham defender DeAndre Yedlin has not ruled out a permanent return to Sunderland in the summer.
The USA defender was on loan for the season with the Black Cats although he appeared to have said his goodbyes to the club when he left after the final game.
He has headed out to play in the Copa America and will be concentrating on that for the foreseeable future, but afterwards he will make a decision on his future.
A good showing in the tournament could see more suitors coming his way, but he has not ruled out a return to Sunderland.
“ItÂ’s definitely a door I would not close. I would not mind going back (to Sunderland),” Yedlin told Goal USA. “I had a great time there.
“IÂ’m keeping all doors open, I donÂ’t want to shut any right now. Any opportunity that is offered to me is a big opportunity. When youÂ’re dealing with the Premier League, itÂ’s still unbelievable to think that IÂ’m playing in the Premier League.”
