AS Roma are reported to be lining up a move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic when the transfer window re-opens.
The defender appeared to have put rumours over his future to bed when he penned a new one-year contract extension in January, but there has been a change in manager since then.
Antonio Conte has been appointed Chelsea boss for next season and it remains to be seen if Ivanovic will be in the Italian’s future plans as he looks to reshape the squad.
According to reports in Italy, Roma are monitoring the situation and are ready to offer the Serbian defender a deal, if Chelsea decide he is up for grabs.
It has even been claimed that officials from both clubs met last week, and the transfer of the 32-year-old to the Stadio Olimpico was top of the agenda.
