Chelsea are reported to be closing in on a £34million swoop for Napoli centre-half Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the Senegal international throughout the summer, but reports now claim that Chelsea are closing in on a swoop.
Despite securing John Terry to a new deal, Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to add a new central defender to his ranks, and has targeted a swoop for Koulibaly.
Napoli are happy to accept the fee that Chelsea are willing to offer and Koulibaly looks set to become Conte’s second signing following the arrival of striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
Conte is due to take charge at Chelsea this week following Italy’s participation in Euro 2016 and one of his first jobs could be to welcome Koulibaly to the club.
