Gabriel Paulista has handed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger a major lift after declaring his ankle injury is not a serious problem.
Wenger has already lost Per Mertesacker to injury and there were fears Paulista could also add to his problems after he was carried off against Manchester City at the weekend.
Wenger suggested that the player had suffered an ankle sprain, and some reports have claimed he could be on the sidelines for up to two months.
The Gunners have yet to reveal the full extent of the damage but the Brazlian has since taken to his instagram account to play down the severity of the problem.
“Today I feel much better, is not a big problem,” he posted.
Wenger will be very much hoping that is the case and Paulista will be back available sooner rather than later, or he may need to buy two new defenders.
